COVID-19 Protocol
Dear friends of Gabriel House of Care,
Helping others is the heart of our mission. We are committed to continuing to provide our services to organ transplant and cancer patients along with their caregivers during this difficult time. In order to do so, these are things we are doing to protect those staying with us:
Our housekeeping staff will continue to adhere to our already high-level cleaning practices of the common areas along with an added focus on high-touch surfaces. Guests are also asked to assist with sanitizing, consistent hand-washing, and social distancing guidelines.
Increasing screening of patients, caregivers, and staff based on hospital-directed recommendations and guidelines. No masks are not required but strongly advised for immune-compromised patients.
Due to our immune-compromised guests, we are requesting that all visitors be vaccinated. No visitors are not required to show proof of vaccination. Visitors are limited to no more than 2 at a time and are restricted to the patio or dining area only.
Employees with symptoms of illness are asked to stay home.
Maintaining an open line of communication with hospital partners and local officials and monitoring the situation as it continues to evolve and change.
Please refer to the following resources for up-to-date information, guidance, and best practices for infection control and prevention:

We are doing our very best at this time to help stop the spread of the coronavirus while serving one of the most vulnerable populations. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Valerie Callahan
